Madhya Pradesh: Swine flu toll 44
Indore, MP, Mar 26 (UNI) With a 30-year-old woman from Mandla District succumbing to swine flu at a local private infirmary on Monday, the number of those who perished while undergoing treatment in this district rose to 44 since January 1; an Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme official said on Tuesday.
The latest victim was admitted on Thursday and tested positive on Saturday.
The fatalities break-up is 21 from this district and the remainder from others.
