Magnitude 2.1 earthquake hits Delhi, NCR

New Delhi/UNI: A mild earthquake, measuring 2.1 on the Richter Scale, hit Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR) on Monday afternoon.

According to the National Center for Seismology, the quake's epicenter was near the Delhi border in

Daurala in Gurugram district in Haryana.

The quake, which occurred at 1300 hrs in the afternoon, was epicentered at a depth of 18 kilometers from the ground surface at 28.7 degrees north latitude and 76.7 degrees east longitude.

So far, no loss of life or damage to property has been reported due to the quake.
