Number of COVID-19 Cases in South Africa Exceeds 10,000 - Health Minister

Moscow/Sputnik/UNI: The number of confirmed COVID-19 Cases in South Africa has reached 10,015, Health Minister Zweli Mkhize said on Sunday.

On Saturday, South Africa registered a total of 9420 cases, with the death toll of 186.

"As of today, the total number of confirmed #Covid_19 cases in South Africa is 10 015, the total number of deaths is 194 and the recoveries are 4173," the minister tweeted.

The World Health Organization has confirmed 56,973 COVID-19 cases across the African continent.
