Odisha: Woman delivers baby boy in Shramik Special train

Bhubaneswar/UNI:  In yet another incident, a 19-year-old woman travelling in Shramik Special Train (No 07743)from Lingampalli in Telengana to Bolangir, gave birth to a baby boy.

East Coast Railway sources here said Meena Kumbhkar of Thodibahal village under Belpara Police Station of Bolangir travelling in S-14 coach of the train gave birth to the baby at Titilagarha early this morning.

The Railway doctor checked both the mother and the child at Titilagarh and found them in good health.

At 7.10 hours on the advice of the doctor both the mother and the child were shifted to government hospital.

This is the third baby born in Shramik Special Train in East Coast Railway jurisdiction in Odisha and the 37th baby all over India Railways.

Earlier on May 22 last, one Kunti Nag of Pathanmunda village under Tureikela block of Bolangir Distrct had delivered a male child on 07631 Bollaram-Balangir Shramik Express Train at Balangir.

Two days later on May 24 last one Hema Kanti Biswakarma of Katelpara village under Chura Police Station in Gajiabad district of Chhattisgarh delivered a baby girl on 07087 Kazipet-Balangir Shramik express at Titilagarha Station.
