One COVID-19 case in Hamirpur

Hamirpur/UNI: One more COVID-19 case was registered at Hamirpur on Monday.

The patient is a twenty-five year old woman who recently returned from Mumbai.

A resident of the Pahloo village of the district she had gone to visit her in-laws in Mumbai and returned on May 22nd.

Her husband, who had also previously been detected as Corona positive is already receiving treatment at the COVID-19 center of the district.

Deputy Commissioner, Harikesh Meena informed that the woman has been put under institutional quarantine at the local Medical College hospital.

With this, the total number of positive cases in the district has risen to 63 out of which one has died and five have recovered, hence the district currently has 57 active cases.
