PM Modi, Sushma Swaraj praises MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan for his initiative to plant six crore saplings

New Delhi, July 2 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj appreciated Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for his move to plant six crore saplings along the Narmada to protect the river.

"Good luck Madhya Pradesh, for creating a mass movement of planting more trees and ensuring a greener planet. #MPPlants6CroreTrees," the PM tweeted praising the initiative taken by the Chief Minister.

In a series of Hindi tweets, Sushma Swaraj also appreciated the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister.

"I congratulate Shivraj Singh Chouhanji for unprecedented success of the initiative," she tweeted.

She said a sapling of a ‘Kadamb’ tree was planted int he campus of Amarkantak University on her behalf.
