Mangan/Sikkim: Prabha Chettri, a 24-year-old resident of Mangan, in a bid to address the challenges faced by mountaineers and tourists visiting the stunning state of Sikkim, unveiled an innovative solution called Himalayan Oxy.

This portable oxygen canister is specifically designed to combat altitude sickness, a long-standing issue for travelers exploring high-altitude regions, reported Northeast Weekly.

With Sikkim experiencing numerous cases of respiratory distress and unfortunate fatalities over the years, the introduction of this convenient oxygen canister comes as a much-needed relief.

The Himalayan Oxy canister is primarily intended for use in popular high-altitude destinations such as Lachen, Lachung, Yumthang in North Sikkim, and the revered Nathula Pass in East Sikkim.

Recognizing the critical significance of this groundbreaking innovation, the Department of Transport recently issued a notification urging tourists to carry the oxygen canister as an essential companion during their journeys to higher elevations.

During an interview with Northeast Live, Prabha Chettri, the visionary founder of Himalayan Oxy, expressed her satisfaction with the impact of her product. She shared, "Himalayan Oxy has already witnessed numerous success stories, with tourists utilizing the canister to save many lives."

In addition to her revolutionary oxygen canister, Chettri has also introduced an agricultural marvel known as Quinoa Super Food.

This nutrient-rich source of protein and fiber has rapidly gained attention in the market due to its exceptional quality and meticulous production process.

Chettri has successfully launched Quinoa Super Food by employing advanced repackaging and value-added processing techniques.
