1,500 pre-bookings before launch: iTech’s new Apple Premium Partner store opens in Kolkata
iTech, East India’s largest Apple Authorised Reseller, on Friday launched its Apple Premium Partner (APP) store at Acropolis Mall in Kolkata, with 1,500 pre-bookings registered and more than 2,000 units expected to be sold during the first three days following the inauguration.
Speaking to IBNS, iTech Founder and CEO Udit Dokania said the company had been planning to open a major store in Kolkata for some time.
“We were planning to open a major premium store in Kolkata of this grand size, and finally that milestone has been reached,” Dokania said.
He said iTech is targeting the milestone of 50 stores by next year.
“We will soon open new stores in Garia and other places in the state,” he said.
“We are planning to penetrate deeply into the country and open stores in Bihar, Jharkhand and the Northeast. Hopefully, we will soon reach the milestone of 50 stores,” Dokania added.

The 2,100-square-foot store, located at Acropolis Mall in South Kolkata, is expected to sell more than 2,000 units during its first three days of operations, he said.
The store was inaugurated in the presence of Apple enthusiasts by former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly.

The launch offers are valid from August 14 to August 16, 2026.
