George Group of Colleges encouraging the future Sports Administrators

Kolkata, Mar 30 (IBNS): George Group of Colleges, a part of The George Telegraph Group, having 95 years of Heritage in education sector has announced the launch of Scholarship Program for Bachelors in Sports Management for current season starting from August, 2015.

The initiative is aimed at providing a bright future to the eligible students of the institute and encouraging the students in the field of sports management.

George College is offering a Scholarship Scheme to the players of different Sports Clubs to study Bachelors in Sports Management, while they are pursuing their career in Sports.

The course will provide them knowledge of Sports Management.

"100% Scholarship will be provided to 10 (ten) students and 50% Scholarship to another 10 (ten) students. The aspiring Sports Managers will be chosen on the basis of their performance in field and their merit in Admission tests. The Admission test will be in two phases: First, the Students will have to appear in a written Test. Secondly: After passing the Admission test the student will have to face an interview, paneled by eminent sports personalities," read an official statement.
