Kolkata/IBNS: With the pandemic restrictions and the ban on international travel, are you missing the delightful street foods found across Asian countries such as Thailand, Singapore or Malaysia?
Fret not.
Located in the IT hub of Kolkata (Sector V, Salt Lake), Asia! Asia! Asia! - Street BBQ & Buffet is offering delectable street foods and more in a setting that will assuage your craving for both food and ambience.
Spread across 3500 sq. ft., this 111 seater outlet draws inspiration from the diverse yet colourful and lively streets of the Asian countries, which find an expression through graffiti, murals and signage.
Bringing the outdoors in
The menu consists of street style cuisines from primarily eight Asian countries -- Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Singapore, South Korea and Malaysia -- with dishes from Myanmar and Cambodia making occasional appearances.
To ensure you get the grilled food just right, they have introduced table top grilling.
The food will be half prepared on the central Robata Grill before being served to customers, who can complete the grilling to their own liking.
Apart from the unlimited skewers, there is a fairly diverse buffet which includes curries, dim sums, stir fries, salads and soups as well as a live noodle shop.
Menu highlights include Neon Dim Sum, Tori Tsukune Teriyaki, Robata Claypot Rice; curries like Dak Dori Tang, Nonya Curry, Rendang; desserts such as Japanese Mochi Ice-Cream, Dorayaki (Japanese pancakes), Chocolate Sprinkled Banana, etc.

Served complimentary with the buffet is a Japanese flavoured beverage, ‘Ramune’.
A range of bubble teas and flavoured iced teas are also part of Asia! Asia! Asia! beverage menu.
The restaurant is open every day from noon to 3 pm and 7 pm to midnight.
A meal for one costs upwards of Rs 650 between Monday and Thursday and upwards of Rs 750 between Friday and Sunday.
