HRD Minister Javadekar congratulates CBSE students who passed board examintions

New Delhi, May 29 (IBNS): Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Prakash Javadekar has congratulated all Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) students who passed their Class X board examinations on Tuesday.

The results of Class X board examinations were declared at 1.15 pm on Tuesday.

Javadekar said: "Congratulations to all students who have passed. After a long time, class X examinations were conducted. It was an important step which has been liked by all parents, society and the teachers."

"All those students who didn't succeed, should not be disappointed. Wishing good luck to all students for their future," he added.

According to reports, the overall pass percentage in 2018 is 86.7 percent.

Like what they did in CBSE class 12 examinations, girls outshone boys registering a pass percentage of 88.67 percent while 85.32 percent boys passed the exams.

However in 2017, the pass percentage among girls was 92.5 percent while that among boys was 93.4 percent.

The CBSE 10th Result 2018 are available on the board's official website cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in.
