IGNOU calls for admission into various programmes

New Delhi, May 29 (IBNS): The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) recently invited applications for admission to degree/ diploma programmes in Management Programme, B.Ed., M.Ed. and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

IGNOU announced admission in Management, (Diploma in Management, PG Diploma in Management, PG Diploma in Human Resource Management, PG Diploma in Financial Management, PG Diploma in Operations Management, PG Diploma in Marketing Management, PG Diploma in Financial Markets Practice); OPENMAT-XXXVI, M.Ed., B.Ed. and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (OPENNET-IV) for January 2015 session through entrance tests to be held on Aug 17 all over the country.

IGNOU noted that the student handbook and prospectus can be obtained from the Registrar (SRD), IGNOU, New Delhi and also from all the regional centres by sending a sum of Rs.1050 through a demand draft/ IPO in favour of IGNOU, payable at New Delhi or city of the concerned regional centre or by paying Rs.1000 in cash at the sale counters at these places.

The last date for receipt of request for student handbook and prospectus by post is Jul 10.

The application form and prospectus can also be downloaded from the website www.ignou.ac.in., and sent along with draft/ IPO for Rs.1050 in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi by Registered/Speed Post  to Registrar (SED), IGNOU (for Management Programmes and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Programme) and to the concerned Regional Centre (for M.Ed. and B.Ed. programmes).  

The prospectus will be sent to such applicants after receipt of Rs. 1050.

The last date for the submission of the forms is on or before Jul 15.
