JIS Group presents 'JIS Samman' felicitation ceremony

Kolkata, May 12 (IBNS): JIS Group, one of eastern India's leading groups which provide quality education to aspiring students, organised 'JIS Samman'.
The ceremony was organised to honour academic excellence, cultural brilliance and technological innovations.  
 
JIS Group awarded not only meritorious students but also the hard working faculty members and the staff members. The educational institution gave out 395 awards in all.

Governor of West Bengal Keshari Nath Tripathi was present at the occasion and said, “Teachers are the torch bearers who illuminate and enlighten us with the light of education. Education provides the strong base for the development of human civilization.”

Partha Chatterjee , MIC, Dept of School Education & Higher Education was the guest of honour at the programme. 
 
JIS Group’s chairman Sardar Jodh Singh and managing director Taranjit Singh gave the certificates and trophies to the deserving candidates.

JIS Group highlighted that they are planning to expand their project in Raipur, Chhattisgarh and several ITIs in Jharkhand are going to be launched shortly. 
 
Singh further said, “In the field of education, we have also taken the step towards collaborating with foreign educational institutions.”
