Kathak exponent Keka Sinha stages 'The Flame Eternal' in Kolkata

Kolkata, Jan 27 (IBNS): To commemorate the 154th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanda, the late Indian philosopher and Hindu monk, Kathak exponent Keka Sinha staged ‘The Flame Eternal’, a dance drama, in Kolkata recently.

Conceived and choreographed by the danseuse and developed in collaboration with Ram Krishna Mission, it depicts the salient incidents of Swamiji’s life.

Sinha, who is pursuing her craft for the last three and half decades, is a Sangeet Prabhakar degree holder.

She trained under exponents Guru Reba Vidyarthi and Guru Bandana Sen.

A recipient of the Singarmani Award, Sinha has staged shows across the world.

She also represented India as a cultural delegate in the 13th World Youth Festival in North Korea.
