Meet Claude Opus 4.5: Anthropic’s most powerful AI has just landed

| @indiablooms | Nov 25, 2025, at 06:00 pm

AI startup Anthropic has announced the launch of its latest Artificial Intelligence model Claude Opus 4.5, providing a new option to internet users as an alternative to ChatGPT and Gemini.

Describing the model, the company said in a statement: " It’s intelligent, efficient, and the best model in the world for coding, agents, and computer use."

"It’s also meaningfully better at everyday tasks like deep research and working with slides and spreadsheets," the statement said.

The American firm said Opus 4.5 is a step forward in what AI systems can do.

The company said Opus 4.5 is available on its apps, API, and on all three major cloud platforms.

"If you’re a developer, simply use claude-opus-4-5-20251101 via the Claude API. Pricing is now $5/$25 per million tokens—making Opus-level capabilities accessible to even more users, teams, and enterprises," the company said in its statement.

Alongside Opus, Anthropic is releasing updates to the Claude Developer Platform, Claude Code, and consumer apps.

Anthropic’s Adam Wolff said Claude Opus 4.5 could routinely code autonomously for 20 to 30 minutes.

In his X post, he said: "This new model is something else. Since Sonnet 4.5, I've been tracking how long I can get the agent to work autonomously. With Opus 4.5, this is starting to routinely stretch to 20 or 30 minutes. When I come back, the task is often done—simply and idiomatically."
