NH2 Treasures of the Grand Highway: Food festival at the Westin Rajarhat Kolkata

Kolkata/IBNS: Seasonal Taste, the popular dining outlet in Westin Rajarhat Kolkata, is ready to take patrons on a gastronomic journey from Kabul to Kolkata.

Called ‘NH2 Treasures of the Grand Highway’, it brings to the table famous dishes found in the towns and cities along the historical Grand Trunk Road (GT Road), namely Kabul, Peshawar, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Delhi, Banaras, and Kolkata.

Said Executive Chef Vivek Kalia, who curated the menu, “The idea is to recreate the local weather beaten food from the highways packaged with the rich culture and ambiance in the luxury of The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat.”

Highlights include thalis (with an assortment of vegetable curries, dal, roti, rice and desserts), tandoori paranthas, tawa gosht, murgh rasseydar, murgh tawa biriyani, etc.

The food festival will take place between October 22 and 31, 2021; will be open for brunch between 12.30 pm and 3.30 pm and for dinner between 7.30 pm and 10.30 pm.
Meal for one: Rs 1,699 plus tax.
