Second edition of UNITED music festival organised in Kolkata

Kolkata, Nov 30 (IBNS): Music Festival UNITED embarked on its second edition with great gusto with four massive headliners in Kolkata.

This year the EDM lineup featured DJs, BASS RAJA NUCLEYA, APEK from Los Angeles, CANDICE REDDING from Goa, the Palm expo DJ Championship winner: The Neglected ones, & 10 other DJ's of this city.

Presented by Smirnoff Experience, UNITED we stand, a property of A2Z Event, was held at Aquatica on Friday.

Blending Desi innovations with EDM music experience, the theme of UNITED 2016 was Bass Mela.

Speaking about this year’s event, co-organiser, Aparajita Chowdury from A2Z events said: “UNITED is our dream to create the biggest music festival for Kolkata. We have ambitioned to raise the bar higher every year with many innovations in theme, stage, décor, artists and experience for party-goers. This year with BASS MELA we have an amazing blend of DESI & contemporary inevery aspect of the festival. Our endeavor is to take the festival experience another notch higher and to take it outside Kolkata soon. ”

Co-organizer, Zawed Ali adds: “I’m humbled with the great response to the festival this year again. We’ve been working hard on putting together a lineup of this scale for months, we were privileged to have KEVU from Portugal fon 6th nov and now other DJs like APEK & Candice from around the world, who united with our DESI BASS KING, NUCLEYA on the main day, 25th."
