Sini Shetty from Karnataka is crowned ‘Miss India 2022’
New Delhi/IBNS: The 21 year-old Sini Shetty from Karnataka on Sunday was crowned Femina Miss India 2022 at the finale of VlCC Femina Miss India held in Mumbai.
The ‘Femina Miss India’ took to their official social media handle and wrote, “World - here she comes! Sini Shetty has conquered our stage and taken over our hearts with her magnetism, charm, endurance and beauty! We're so proud and can't wait to see her represent India on the Miss World stage! Please give it up for Femina Miss India World 2022, Sini Shetty @sinishettyy”.
Rubal Shekhawat from Rajasthan emerged as the first runner-up, while Shinata Chauhan from Uttar Pradesh was the second runner-up.
Sharing a picture of the ladies on Instagram, the ‘Femina Miss India’ said, “ CONGRATULATIONS Let's pop the champagne! These ladies have a powerful voice and we're sure that they're going to use this platform to further all the important causes that they believe in. We've seen the passion with which they've worked for these titles and must say that they deserve every bit of this. Congratulations, ladies- it's time to celebrate @sinishettvv @rubal shekhawat@shinatachauhan”.
Bollywood actor Neha Dhupia, Dino Morea and Malaika Arora, ace fashion designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, choreographer Shiamak Davar, and former Indian cricketer Mithali Raj were the jury members for the grand finale.
The star performers for the night were Kriti Sanon and Lauren Gottlieb, while Maniesh Paul was the host of the ceremony.
The Miss India stage hosted 30 charismatic ladies from across the country.
The grand finale telecast of VLCC presents ‘Femina Miss India 2022’ will air on July 17th at 12 noon and 5 pm on Colors.
