Kolkata, Apr 16 (IBNS): The Primarc Group on Wednesday opened STORY, a 15,000 sq ft standalone bookstore at at Elgin Road in Kolkata.

Actor Saswata Chattopadhyay was present at the announcement and unveiled the ‘STORY’ identity.

“STORY will be the kind of social & meeting place that Kolkata doesn’t have much of. I can assure you that STORY will become the pilgrimage of the book lovers across age groups. Our objective is to become the country’s best standalone bookstore. We will bring new value with facilities and services that will make STORY a grand destination not only for the Kolkatans but even tourists," said Sidharth Pansari, Chief StoryTeller of STORY

“Besides these, we plan to have a special MADE BY STORY section which will have our own house brand of stationery and eclectic little-nothings. And soon, a YOURS ONLY section will make customised stationery for you. The leading retail chain M3 will operate the BLOCKBUSTERS section to quench the thirst of the music & movie lovers," added Pansari.

“STORY will be a place where people will meet to tell stories, talk stories, read stories, write stories & buy stories. Don’t judge the STORY by its current cover. The best is yet to come - today its just the preface. Rome wasn't built in a day. Give us time, feedback and support - we will author a STORY that every kolkatan will be proud of," concluded  Pansari.
