Kolkata, Dec 21 (IBNS): Kolkata's leading lifestyle and bookstore, STORY, is holding a winter carnival for the kids, with special events planned around Christmas and the New Year.

The Winter Carnival, being hosted at STORY's Elgin Road (south Kolkata) and Diamond Mall (Nagerbazar, north of Kolkata) consists of various workshops and other programmes so that children can both enjoy and learn something.

To name a few of the events -- origami, mask making, winter pictionary, storytelling, finger puppet making, and more.

There are also creative competitions to build confidence among the children while helping them work on their imagination and skills, from drawing competitions to Lego tallest building competition.

The Chill Fest, a special event to be held around Christmas, will include story telling, Santa Coming with Jingles, Santa making, Rudolp the Reindeer craft, etc.

Some of the events are free while some have a nominal charge.

Most of the events are held around 5pm. On Christmas Day, the programme will start from 11 am.
