The results of Delhi Assembly Elections are coming out on Tuesday. The polls to elect a new government were held on last Saturday. While the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is aiming to return to power for the third straight term, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is looking to unseat the incumbent. The Congress, which ruled Delhi for years, is merely fighting to stay relevent in the national capital.

"This is a moment of maintaining patience. I told our party workers not to feel sad," the BJP leader told media.

"Our winning percentage has increased in comparioson to 2015 Assembly polls," he said.

He said the Congress has nearly vanished from the political scenario in the national capital.

"We need to move forward. We will try to deliver for Delhi in the form of MLA and MPs. We hope that Delhi will witness less blame game in future," he said.

Tiwari said BJP does not believe on politics of hatred.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee congratulated his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal in a tweet saying, "Congratulations @ArvindKejriwal as #DelhiResults show @AamAadmiParty all set to win #DelhiElection2020 with a thumping majority yet again. Leaders playing on faith through hate speech & divisive politics should take a cue, as only those who deliver on their promises are rewarded."

 

AAP candidate Amanatullah Khan is leading in Okhla by 21174 votes. 

AAP candidate from Kalkaji, Atishi, has increased her lead to 656 votes.

Reacting to the Delhi poll results, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)'s political strategist Prashant Kishor tweeted, "Thank you Delhi for standing up to protect the soul of India!"

After her party got decimated in the Delhi polls, Delhi Mahila Congress president and former President Pranab Mukherjee's daughter, Sharmistha Mukherjee, tweeted, "We r again decimated in Delhi.Enuf of introspection, time 4 action now. Inordinate delay in decision making at the top, lack of strategy & unity at state level, demotivated workers, no grassroots connect-all r factors.Being part of d system, I too take my share of responsibility."

Reacting to the AAP's massive lead, AAP's Sanjay Singh said, "People have voted in favour of work and development."

Delhi Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is trailing in Patparganj seat by 754 seats. 

BJP's Model Town candidate Kapil Mishra is trailing by 4520 votes. 

AAP candidate Atishi is leading from Kalkaji seat by 111 votes. 

AAP candidate from Okhla constituency Amanatullah Khan is trailing by 194 votes. BJP Braham Singh is ahead in the seat. 

AAP is leading in 57 seats, BJP in 13 seats, Congress in 0 seat. 

As per latest trends, AAP is leading in 54 seats, BJP in 16 seats, Congress in 0 seat. 

AAP candidate Atishi is trailing from Kalkaji constituency by 11 votes.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and AAP candidate Manish Sisodia is leading from Patparganj constituency by 74 votes.

Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal is leading from New Delhi constituency by 4387 votes. 

Nothing to worry, getting more than exit poll predictions: Manoj Tiwari

"There is nothing to worry. We are getting more than what was predicted by the exit polls. In 27 seats, the margin of votes are thin," said Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari.

BJP candidate Kapil Mishra from Model Town constituency is leading by 98 votes. 

AAP is leading in 49 seats, BJP in 21 seats, Congress in 0 seat.
