116th meeting of trustees of Somnath Trust held at Somnath,PM attends

New Delhi, mar 8 (IBNS): The 116th meeting of the trustees of Shri Somnath Trust was held at Somnath on Wednesday.

The meeting was attended by trustees: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lal Krishna Advani, Amit Shah, Keshubhai Patel, P.K. Laheri, J.D. Parmar and Harsh Neotia.

In the meeting, Narendra Modi suggested that the entire campus of Shree Somnath temple be upgraded with water, greenery and facilities.

He  recommended that the Trust should actively participate in the effort to make Veraval and Prabhas Patan cashless.

He also said that the Trust should organise special Mahotsavas in all major cities.{image_3}

It was decided that Keshubhai Patel would continue as Chairman of the Trust for the year 2017.
