New Delhi/UNI: The Supreme Court on Friday refused to grant interim relief to former Congress leader Sajjan Kumar, undergoing jail sentence for his involvement in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case, and said his petition will be heard again after Holi vacation.

"We will hear the bail of Sajjan Kumar after the Holi vacation," a three-judge bench, headed by CJI S A Bonde said.

Vikas Singh, lawyer for Sajjan Kumar, handing over the sealed medical report on behalf of his client, said that Kumar has lost 13 kg in weight in jail.

"Medical report was called for. He started with 67 kgs. He has already lost 13 kgs," Singh submitted to the Court during the course of the hearing.

Kumar has been sentenced to life imprisonment in a 1984 anti-Sikh riots case.
