3 pilgrims die in a head-on collision between two cars near Tarikere in Chikkamagaluru Dist
Chikkamagaluru, Apr 19 (UNI) Three pilgrims, including a teen-aged girl, died on the spot in a head-on collision between two cars on National High Way 206 near Tarikere in the district on Friday.
Police said that the victims have been identified as Raju (65), Jyothi (14) and Subbalakshmi (60). All the victims hailed from Shidalagatta in Chikkabalapura and were on a pilgrimage to Singaluru temple in Sidalagatta.
Tarikere police visited the spot and have registered a case.
