3 rifles and IEDs recovered in Palamu

Daltonganj, Feb 21 (UNI) CRPF personnel of the 134th battalion have recovered three rifles and a huge amount of IEDs from Dhab forest under Harihargunj Police Station area of this district.

CRPF officials said that a secret tip off had been received that maoists had kept hidden huge quantity of arms and ammunition in the forest after which a major search operation was launched in the area in which these items were recovered.

The items which have been recovered from the spot also includes tiffin bombs, gelatin, naxal literature and bag packs.
