7,000 personnel to be recruited in Maharashtra Police force soon: Devendra Fadnavis

Mumbai/UNI: Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday informed the Maharashtra Assembly that orders have been given to recruit seven thousand personnel in the state police force.

Considering the shortfall of manpower in the police department of various cities in the state, the government has given orders to recruit 7,000 police personnel soon, he said.

Fadnavis added that instructions have been given to start the process in this regard.
