AAP's Punjab chief stung : faces corruption charges from within party

New Delhi, Aug 26 (IBNS) : At a time wen Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party aims to make foray in Punjab in the upcoming Assembly elections,its state chief Suchcha Singh Chhotepur, stands accused of taking bribe for assigning constituencies to party candidates.

According to reports, 21 AAP leaders from Punjab, including members of Parliament Bhagwant Mann and Sadhu Singh, have written  to party chief Arvind Kejriwal asking him to immediately sack  Chhotepur.

The petitioners have also sent the video clip of a sting operation in which Chhotepur is alledly seen accepting ash from a candidate.

The alleged sting has not been made public.

Kejriwal has convened a high level party meeting in Delhi on Friday to discuss the issue.
