Acche Din government has failed: Gandhi

New Delhi, Apr 20 (IBNS) Making his first speech in the Lok Sabhaas an opposition MP, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi made a stern attack on the BJP-led Central government and said it has 'failed'.

"On the issue of MSP the Acche Din government has failed this country," Gandhi said in the Lok Sabha.

He said: "During UPA government agricultural growth rate was 4.2 % while during 'India Shining' govt it was just 2.6%.

"Your government is the government of corporates, of Big People, of Suit-Boot," Gandhi said.

Gandhi said agricultural growth is 1 percent.

The second half of the Budget Session of the Parliament commenced from Monday.

Attacking the Government, Gandhi said it is neglecting the farmers and labours in the nation.

Targeting the PM, he said: "The PM of this country understands political calculations, he has won the elections."
