New York:  Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla has said the territory of Afghanistan should not be used  to threaten, attack any country or to shelter, finance or train terrorists.

The United Nations Security Council on Monday passed the  Resolution on Afghanistan.

Speaking to media, Shringla said: "The UNSC resolution makes it clear that Afghan territory should not be used to threaten or attack any other country."

Afghanistan plunged into a new phase of crisis as Taliban members entered Kabul and took control over the Presidential Palace.

The Taliban will announce the formation of a new Afghan government on Friday but its composition remains uncertain as of now, a source from the movement’s military commission told Sputnik on Tuesday.

The source added, on condition of anonymity, that it is not yet known who will be part of the government and what will be its format.
