Afghanistan: Indian Foreign secretary visits Herat consulate
Kabul. May 30 (IBNS): Days after a terror attack rocked the Indian consulate in the western Afghan province of Herat, Indian Foreign Secretary Sujatha Singh visited it on Friday.
"India's outpost in Herat receives welcome visitor - Foreign Secy Sujatha Singh flies in to meet brave staff," Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin tweeted.
The Indian Consulate in in Afghanistan's Herat city was attacked by militants last week.
All the attackers were killed.
