| @indiablooms | May 05, 2024, at 07:08 pm

A principal of a school in north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh's Agra city was caught on camera beating up a female teacher for allegedly coming late to the institute.

The video has now gone viral.

The principal of a pre-secondary school in Seegana village of Agra was filmed not only assaulting the teacher Gunjan Choudhary, but also accused her of trying to tear her clothes during the fight, reports Indian news channel NDTV.

Agra is well known for the iconic Mughal structure Taj Mahal which was built by emperor Shah Jahan.

The principal could be seen clutching the kurta of the teacher as she attempted to free herself.

In the viral video, a voice could be heard saying: "This will be filmed. Madam is being rude."

"Does this behaviour suit you," she said.

The teacher was reportedly injured in the incident.

According to reports, the principal filed a police complaint against the teacher.
