Allahabad HC orders to write name in Hindi also in UP Board marksheets from 2020

Prayagraj, Mar 16 (UNI) Allahabad High Court has ordered to write name of candidates in Hindi in marksheets along with English in Intermediate and High school of Uttar Pradesh Board.

Justice Ashok Kumar passed this order on appeal of Manish Diwedi. The Court also instructed to amend the rules when necessary.

In order orated in Hindi Justice Ashok Kumar said that Indian constitution allows to work in Hindi in government offices. Use of English was permitted for 15 years till Hindi gets its right place but it continues till date.

The Court has emphasised to focus on use of Hindi in government establishment to promote the language. The court has accepted the plea of the litigant to amend his name in UP board mark-sheets.
