Amid speculations of Cabinet expansions, Goa CM meets PM
Parrikar, however, refuted all media speculations.
"There was no discussion with the Prime Minister about any role in the Cabinet. I am still the Goa Chief Minister," he told mediapersons.
Earlier in the evening, Parrikar met Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah.
On being asked then about the induction issue, he said, "The decision to induct one as an Union Minister is purely that of Prime Minister's . So I can't comment anything based on media speculations. I will answer all your questions after meeting the Prime Minister."
According to media reports, there might be a Cabinet expansion soon. It is likely to take place before the winter session of Parliament which begins on Nov 24.
