Anil Ambani's wife Tina Ambani appears in ED office

Mumbai: Actress Tina Ambani, wife of industrialist Anil Ambani, appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday to record his statement in connection with an investigation into the alleged contravention of the foreign exchange law.

She was accompanied by some of the directors of her company, who are waiting outside the ED office at Ballard Estate in south Mumbai while the officials are presently recording her statement.

On Monday, Anil Ambani also appeared in the same office and was being questioned in connection with an investigation linked to the alleged contravention of the foreign exchange law.

Ambani, 64, deposed at the office of the federal agency to record his statement in the case, registered under various sections of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), the officials said.
