Aurangabad, Feb 20 (UNI) Maharashtra state cabinet minister of water supply Gulabrao Patil on Monday said that people should ask Sanjay Raut where the deal money was kept which was claimed by him.

Raut had alleged that the Election Commission had taken a bribe of Rs 2,000 crores for awarding the Shiv Sena party symbol to the Eknath Shinde faction of the party.

Patil said this when he was on Aurangabad district tour on Monday to attend review meeting of water supply department and inaugurate a government scheme at Jalna through virtually.

He was interacting with newsmen at Chikalthana airport after his arrival.

While replying to the question that Sanjay Raut had made serious claims that the Dhanushyaban deal was worth Rs 2000 crore, Patil replied that "Ask Mr Raut where the deal money is kept, and how many notes were there."

When he was asked that the Thackeray group is going to the Supreme Court, Patil scoffed saying "let them go".

It may be noted that Raut took direct aim at the Election Commission by tweeting and questioning the role of the Election Commission.

Raut has made a sensational claim that so far Rs 2,000 crores of deals and transactions have been done to get the symbol and name.

Raut also said that this is a preliminary figure and is 100 percent true. His allegation has created excitement in the political circles across the country.
