Assam MLA distributes masks, sanitizers to frontline COVID-19 warriors

Guwahati/IBNS: Amid COVID-19 lockdown, many people are also working towards providing essential services. On Monday, Chhaygaon assembly constituency MLA Rekibuddin Ahmed distributed masks, hand sanitizers and other items to the frontline COVID-19 warriors.

A programme was held at the Chayygaon Revenue Circle office in Assam's Kamrup district keeping in view of the safety of the officials engaged in essential services.

In the programme, members of Chayygaon Press Club along with some journalists from South Kamrup handed over masks, sanitizer, medicines along with some essential food items to the people engaged in essential services.

Masks, sanitizers, phenyl bottles were also handed over to the officials of Chayygaon Revenue Circle along with security personnel and shop owners of essential food items.

The programme was organised for encouraging the noble work of the officials engaged in essentials services towards the public.
