Bangladesh: Ex- CMSD director Md Shahidullah dies due to COVID-19

Dhaka/UNI: Brigadier General Md Shahidullah, former director of the Central Medical Store Depot (CMSD), died of Covid-19 at Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon.

He breathed his last around 1500 hours at the hospital, said Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, additional director general (administration) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

"Shahidullah had been undergoing treatment at the CMH for around one month after testing positive for Covid-19," Prof Nasima Sultana told The Daily Star.
