Bangladesh Foreign Minister Momen meets Vice President Naidu

New Delhi: Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen and Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam, on Monday called on Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu separately here.

The Vice President’s House tweeted images of his meeting witht he foreign leaders.

The Bangladesh Foreign Minister on Sunday co-chaired the 7th Meeting of the Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in New Delhi.

“The Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, H.E. Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen called on the Vice President, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu at Upa-Rashtrapati Nivas today.”

The Vice President also met with Vietnamese senior leader Nguyen Van Nen, who earlier in the day called on BJP President JP Nadda.

“Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Party Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City called on the Vice President, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu at Upa-Rashtrapati Nivas today.”

The visit of the Vietnamese delegation is part of the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Vietnam.

On Saturday, EAM Jaishankar and his Vietnamese counterpart Bui Thanh Son launched the joint logo for the celebration of 50 years of India-Vietnam Diplomatic Relations at an event here.
