Bengaluru/IBNS: Technology's advancement has indeed come to the help of a Bengaluru man who has managed to discover his wife's extramarital affair via his car's GPS tracker, media reports said.

The car GPS tracker was connected to the man's smartphone.

The man, who worked night shifts, said he had no clue of the affair and only came to know through the GPS data.

Narrating the incident, he said as quoted by Times Now, "One day last year, I discovered my car was taken out by someone while I was working night shift in office. A detailed study of the GPS showed the car had moved in the KIA direction by midnight and stopped outside a hotel.

"It was driven back home a little after 5 am. I visited the hotel and found that my wife and her boyfriend had booked a room using their voter ID."

The man was threatened by his wife and her lover after he confronted the two.

He had moved a local court requesting police to file a complaint against his wife.

Police have issued a notice against her.
