Bihar: One killed, 14 injured in a road accident

Munger/UNI: A funeral processionist was killed and fourteen were injured, six of them seriously, when the tractor carrying them collided with a sand-laden truck near Singhia Chowk on Munger-Lakhisarai main road in Munger district in the wee hours on Saturday.

Police said here that a labourer, resident of Chandaniya village under Surygarha police station of Lakhisarai district, died on the spot, while fourteen other funeral processionists of the same village were injured.

All the injured were being treated in different hospitals, police added.

Police had taken into custody the driver of the truck and seized the truck.
