BJP appoints Vanathi Srinivasan as party's Mahila Morcha chief

New Delhi/UNI: Bharatiya Janata Party has appointed Vanathi Srinivasan as party's women's wing chief.

According to party's national general secretary  Arun Singh, BJP president JP Nadda appointed Tamil Nadu's Ms Srinivasan as the national president of the Mahila Morcha.

She has been appointed in place of Vijaya Rahatkar, who has recently  been appointed as national secretary in Nadda's team of new office bearers.

Mr Singh also informed that the party president has also appointed Amitabh Chakraborty as the new state organization General Secretary of BJP's West Bengal unit.

These appointments will come into force with immediate effect.
