BJP slams AAP over air pollution in Delhi

| @indiablooms | Oct 31, 2023, at 03:10 am

New Delhi/IBNS/UNI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Monday lashed out at Aam Aadmi Party over rising air pollution in the national capital.

On the air pollution issue, Delhi BJP unit president Virendra Sachdeva alleged, "In Punjab, AAP government has not helped the farmers in finding an alternative to burning farm crop residual and due to it, the entire North India including the people of Punjab are facing toxic air."

Criticising the pollution situation in the national capital, BJP leader said, "AAP-led Delhi government took credit for improving the air quality but today due to toxic air coming from Punjab, the AQI at Delhi's Anand Vihar has crossed the 500 mark."

Delhi BJP unit appealed to the AAP-led government to stop playing with the health of Delhiites and ensure plantation on the roadside across the National Capital on a war footing.
