Boiler explosion in Howrah factory kills 5

Kolkata, Jul 5 (IBNS): At least five workers were killed and four others were seriously injured on Tuesday due to a boiler explosion in an aluminium channel factory beside NH-6 (Mumbai Road) at Dhulagarh area in West Bengal's Howrah district, reports said.
According to reports, a boiler of aluminium factory- Krishna Alex Pvt. Ltd.- suddenly exploded in the afternoon while as many as 20 labours were working there.
 
Five of them, Alokesh Dhali, Sandip Raut, Ganesh Yadav, Bishal Kumar Patel and Bilas Das, were killed in the accident. Four others, Somnath Halder, Lokesh Jana, Supriyo Naskar and Alok Gupta, were seriously injured and rushed to a nearby hospital.  
 
Due to the heavy explosion, a massive fire broke out in the factory. 
 
As many as 3 fire tender engines rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.
