Bumble date turns horror: Woman finds intimate videos uploaded online after 4 years

The private-sector employee alleged that explicit videos of her were uploaded to adult websites and shared on social media years after she went on a date with a man she met through the dating app.

According to the woman, the man abruptly cut off all communication with her and blocked her on social media shortly after they met. Nearly four years later, she was shocked to find clips of their intimate moments circulating online.

The Bengaluru resident met the accused on Bumble in 2022. After chatting on the app, the two exchanged their social media profiles and later decided to meet at the man's residence.

During the meeting, the man allegedly offered her a drink before the two became intimate, NDTV reported.

The woman claimed that after the encounter, the man stopped responding to her messages and eventually blocked her across all platforms.

She recently discovered that clips of her intimate moments had been uploaded to Reddit and several adult websites without her knowledge or consent.

On June 19, she approached the police and filed a complaint seeking action against the accused.

A senior police officer told Asianet News that the explicit videos, which had been uploaded earlier this month, have since been removed from the platforms.

Police have launched an investigation and are working to trace the accused.
