Captain Amarinder Singh quits as Punjab CM

Chandigarh: Captain Amarinder Singh on Saturday met Punjab Governor and quit as Chief Minister, triggering a new political crisis in the state.

His son Raninder Singh confirmed the development and tweeted: "My father submitting his resignation to HE the Governor Sahib of Punjab."
