Kolkata/IBNS: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday arrested actress and Rose Valley Group's jailed CMD Gautam Kundu's wife, Subhra Kundu, in connection with its ongoing probe into Rose Valley ponzi firm scam, officials said.

According to reports, Subhra Kundu was arrested from her Kolkata residence for her alleged role in laundering a huge amount of the chit fund company's money.

Subhra Kundu has been brought to CBI's office at C.G.O. Complex in Kolkata's Salt Lake and she is likely to be produced before a Bhubaneswar court on Saturday.

Her husband, Rose Valley chief Gautam Kundu, was arrested in 2015 and he is presently in judicial custody.

Besides CBI, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is also probing the 17000-crore Rose Valley chit fund scam.
