Chennai, Mar 19 (UNI/IBNS) The Opposition DMK on Tuesday made a slew of promises in its manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls, including separate budget for agriculture, increasing IT exemption limit, release of Rajiv convicts, Tamil as official language and holding referendum among Eelam Tamils in Sri Lanka.

Releasing the manifesto, DMK President M K Stalin also promised to bring Education back in to the State list from concurrent list, abolition of NEET, waiver of educational loans and reverting back to the old pension scheme.

Apart from working for setting up of Regional Councils of States, it said steps would be taken to make Tamil as one of the official languages at the Centre and also as co-official language in Central government offices in Tamil Nadu, besides making it as court language in Madras High court.
