Congress govt. in Karnataka to challenge Jayalalithaa verdict
Karnataka law minister TB Jayachandra has been quoted saying that the state cabinet has decided to challenge the verdict that paved the way for Jayalalithaa to return as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
Last month on May 23, for the fifth time Jayalalithaa became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
Her return to glory was made possible by the verdict of the Karnantaka High Court e which acquitted the 67-year-old politician and gave her a clean chit in the disproportionate asset case.
