Covid-19: Doctor arrested for selling Remedesivir injection in Nashik

Nashik/UNI: A medical practitioner has been arrested by the city police for allegedly selling Remedesivir injection for Rs 25,000.

Based on a complaint, a team of Panchavati police accompanied by a Food and Drug Administration officials reached the Amritdham in Panchavati area of the city late on Sunday night and arrested Dr Ravindra Sridhar Mulak (40, who was working in a private hospital in Panchavati and also owned a gynaecological clinic in Mhasrul), police said.

Police seized three vials of Remedesivir injection from his car.

The Panchavati police has filed a case against him under various laws, sources added.
