Lucknow/UNI: Welcoming the meeting with the Chief Ministers of all the states by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in view of the coronavirus situation, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati has appealed that the Coronavirus vaccination campaign is simplified under the national policy.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Mayawati said, "In view of the danger of recurrence of the coronavirus outbreak in the country, a meeting with all the Chief Ministers convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today is appropriate and welcome. By the way, it will be better if the Central and the state governments make the corona vaccination campaign in the country better and faster under the national policy."

In another tweet, the BSP honcho said, "Also, in view of the various difficulties and problems faced by the common people of the country due to the coronavirus outbreak, the BSP again appeals to the Centre and the state governments to make arrangements to provide the corona vaccine free of cost to especially the poor, toiling people and the middle class families."

Notably, there has been a spurt in the number of coronavirus cases in Uttar Pradesh as well as other states in view of which the Prime Minister called for a meeting with the Chief Ministers of all the states in which prevention from the global pandemic is being discussed.
